Machines of War
Crawling is the home town of the player. It is a small town of craftsmen and farmers. They sell their goods in the Capitol City and to traveling merchants that pass through. Most villagers have gotten the chance to visit the city but for the most part people stay in the village and the surrounding area.
Most of the people are simple folk but they are not hateful and are open to different ideas. While the town is not particularly religious they do follow the Temple and avoid most technology. However, they are not particularly zealous. They enjoy the tricks and spectacles of the Tech Scavengers. They even use some ancient technology to light their homes and the town.
The town is situated underneath a large sturdy mech. The mech has been there since the Apocalypse and the town was built underneath it for the protection from the elements it provided. As a result, the town doesn't worry about rain, sleet and snow. While the streets get muddy the rest of the village stay very dry underneath the enormous corpse. The mech is on it's hands and knees over the village and is missing it's right arm. When it rains it pours down through the hole where an arm should go and a small lake has developed underneath it. There is an entrance to the inside of the mech on one of the legs but there is very little to see inside. Most of the mech's body is blocked off with large metal blast doors.
